Valley Farm Vineyards, Wissett

Valley Farm Vineyards were established in 1987, expanded in 1992 and sold in 2014 to the current owners - Elaine Heeler and Vanessa Tucker who relocated to Suffolk to run the Vineyard after earlier careers in the public sector. They trained at Plumpton and Myerscough respectively and undertook a 'stickability' test by cycling south through Chile in December 2012- January 2013! This was as tough as it sounds but included some wonderful wine samples!

The Vineyards specialise in producing quality grapes for still white and Rose, sparkling white, still blush and sparkling blush. The Madeleine Angevine is the grape in the still wine whilst the Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Pinot Menier and Pinot Noir most often go into the sparkling wine. An extra squeeze from the latter gives the blush finish to some vintages.

All the wines produced are single estate and can be bought at the 'cellar door' or delivered to your door.

Tours: If you turn up and we are open then you can take the self-guided tour - map and notes available; why not ring beforehand to avoid disappointment. Afterwards why not have a taste of our award-winning 2013 vintage single estate Madeleine Angevine.

If you are a group of 6 or more call us to arrange a tutored tour. The tour typically takes an hour, is 1.5 km and is followed up by a tasting session of both the still white 2013 vintage and the 2014 View East Rose'.

Valley Farm Vineyards sell award-winning, vintage, single estate, elegant still and blush sparkling wines
The 2014 vintage 'View East' is a still Rose with a colour reminiscent of our East coast sunrise...with a refreshingly light spritz the wine maker has blended our grapes for a delicately styled wine with summer fruits on the palette. A treat in a bottle! For more information, please email
